Material:

    • Copy Masks, selections, brushes, Picture frames to your PSP folders
      or see File - Preferences - File locations
    • Open tubes and images in PSP
    • Double click on the presets from Eye Candy, they will be imported automatically

  • 5 Filters:

      • Filters Unlimlited 2.0
        Tramages - here
        Mura's meister - Pole transform
        Eye Candy 5 Impact
        Toadies (import in unlimited)



        Install the Plugins.
  • Preparation
    Materials: Foreground color = #24363a and background color #b2c7da,
  • Change foreground color into foreground-background gradient - linear - with these settings:


    The material palette looks like this:


    INFO: If you use your own images or tubes, make them the same size!!!

    Attention: this lesson was made in version X6, but can be made in earlier versions, if not, please let me know. The effects and/or merging layers can result in a different result.

    From PSP 14, 15 and 16 there is no option for Image - Mirror & Image - Flip
    There is an easy way to add the old Mirror and Flip options - please install the script

    The lesson

  1. File - New - Tic in the color box and choose the gradient:

  2. Effects - Plugins - Filter unlimited 2.0 - Toadies - Banding Suppress Noise: 73
  3. Layers - New Raster layer
  4. Selection tool , Custom selection with these settings:

  5. Flood fill tool, fill with gradient
  6. Selections – Deselect all !!!!!
  7. Effects – AFS import – sqborder2 - with settings shown below:
  8. Effects – Plugins – Filter unlimited 2.0 – Tramages – Tow the line see settings below:
  9. Result:
  10. Effects – Images Effects – Seamless tiling with settings shown below:
  11. Layers -  load/save mask – load mask from disk and choose 2020 mask:

  12. Layers – merge – merge group
  13. Activate the Image, alex-ugalnikov-6-1206x608.jpg, Edit - Copy
  14. Activate your work, Edit – Paste as new layer (Make it the same size if you use a different image)
  15. Layer palette - Blend mode = Soft light
  16. Layers – New Raster layer
  17. Selection tool , Custom selection with these settings:
  18. Activate the Image alex-ugalnikov-6-1206x608.jpg again, Edit – Copy
  19. Activate your work, Edit – Paste into selection (keep selection active!!!)
  20. Layer palette - lower Opacity towards 65%
  21. Layers – New Raster layer
  22. Selections – Modify - Select selection border with these settings:
  23. Material palette - Replace the foreground gradient with solid color white
  24. Flood fill tool - Opacity 100!!! Fill selection with white (Zoom if necessary)
  25. Selections – Deselect all !!!!!!
  26. Layers – duplicate
  27. Effects – Images Effects – seamless tilling - tic OK, (same settings as used before)
  28. Result:
  29. Layers - New Raster layer
  30. Selections - Load/save selection - load selection from disk:

  33. Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin - Eye Candy 5 Impact - USER SETTINGS - chose preset @nn_021118_Octavia_tdstudio20.f1s - tic OK
  34. Layers - New Raster layer
  35. Selections - Load/save selection - load selection from disk:

  36. Activate Image, alex-ugalnikov-6-1206x608.jpg, Edit - Copy
  37. Activate your work, Edit - Paste into selection
  38. Selections - Deselect all
  39. Effects - Plugins - Alien skin eye candy 5 Impact - Glass - USER SETTINGS - choose preset
    @nn_021118_Octavia_Glass_tdstudio20.f1s and tic OK
  40. Layers - New Raster layer
  41. Brush tool (B) Select in the drop down menu:
    @nn_021118_brush_001_Octavia_tdstudio20, with these settings, Size 500- step 32 - Density and opacity 100 - Blend mode normal

    stamp the brush right in the middle , if necessary: View - Zoom 50% to have a better sight
  42. Layers - New Raster layer
  43. Brush tool (B) Select in the drop down menu:

  59. Image - flip
  60. Image - resize 50%:
  61. Move tool - Move to the left top corner - see example:

  77. Image - Picture Frame - choose my file:
  78. Save as a jpg and add your watermark
