Moonlight Dancing

This lesson was written by Jille on July 9th 2010 in the Dutch version from PSP 13. The lesson can be made in other versions as well.
I followed my own ideas, any resemblance with an existing lesson is a coincidence

Preparation
- Install the filters
- Extract selections into the map Selections
- Extract the texture into the map Textures
- Open PSP
- Open the tubes in a map of your choice or in the program PSP
- Open the background in the program

Material
I took a light color( # dff3fc ) for the foreground and a darker one ( #acc2e7) for the background
Material Foreground - change into Foreground-Background gradient with these settings

The lesson

  1. Open the background flora & birds_16
  2. Edit - Copy and close
  3. File - New - New image transparent checked
  4. Selections - Select all
  5. Edit - Paste into selection
  6. Selections - Deselect all
  7. Layers - New Raster layer
  8. Flood Fill Tool - Fill the layer with the gradient
  9. Effects - Plugins - Mura's Meister - Cloud


    On the same layer!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Effects - Plugins - <IC Net Software> Filters Unlimited 2 - Tramages - Perforator1

    Still on the same layer
  11. Selections - Custom selection (518 -0 - 600 - 800)
  12. Layer palette - Promote selection to layer
  13. Effects - Texture Effects - Texture (background color)
  14. Material palette - foreground color = White
  15. Selections - Load/Save selection- Load selection from disk and load Moonlight_D1
  16. Flood Fill Tool - fill with white
  17. Selections - Deselect all
  18. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow with these settings
  19. Layers - Duplicate
  20. Effects - Plugins - Vanderlee - Unplugged X - Blobspike with background color
  21. Effects - Texture Effects - Texture with these settings

    Result
  22. Effects - Distortion Effects - Wave with these settings and background color
  23. Layer palette - Blend Mode = Soft light

    On the same layer
  24. Selections - Load/Save selection- Load selection from disk and load Moonlight_D2
  25. Press delete key on your keyboard
  26. Material palette as at the beginning - foreground color = #dff3fc and gradient on the foreground
  27. Layers - New Raster layer
  28. Selections - Load/Save selection- Load selection from disk and load Moonlight_D3
  29. Flood Fill Tool - fill selection wih the gradient
  30. Materiaal pallet - foreground color = white
  31. Selections - Modify - Select selection borders
  32. Flood Fill Tool - fill with white
  33. Effects - Texture Effects - Blinds
  34. Selections - Deselect all
  35. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow change color into = #284e77

    On the same layer
  36. Selections - Load/Save selection- Load selection from disk and load Moonlight_D4
    Edit - Copy Special - Copy merged
  37. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow same settings
  38. Selections - Deselect all
  39. Edit - Paste as new layer
  40. Image - Mirror
  41. Image - Flip
  42. Effects - Image Effects - Offset
  43. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow same settings
  44. Open tube @nn_180606_SoftReply_TD_©
  45. Edit - Copy and close
  46. Edit - Paste as new layer
  47. Move tool - drag to the right and bottom borders
  48. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow same settings
  49. On the same layer
    Selections - Load/Save selection - Load selection from disk and load Moonlight_D5
  50. Press delete on your keyboard
  51. Selections - Deselect all
    Result

  52. Material palette -as at the beginning (foreground color = #dff3fc)
  53. Activate Text Tool with these settings
  54. Write Moonlight
  55. Click Apply
  56. Layer palette - Convert to raster layer
  57. Move see example ( item 62)
  58. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow
  59. Activate Text tool again and write Dancing
  60. Click Apply
  61. Layer palette - Convert to raster layer
  62. Move see example
  63. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow - same settings

  64. Open the tube Anna
  65. Edit - Copy and close
  66. Edit - Paste as new layer
  67. Image - Resize
  68. Move tool - move to a nice spot
  69. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow
  70. Layers - Merge - Merge All (Flatten)
  71. Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 2 px dark color
  72. Selections - Select all
  73. Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 70 px foreground color
  74. Selections - Invert
  75. Flood Fill Tool - flood fill with the gradient
  76. Adjust - Blur - Radiant blur
  77. Effects - 3D Effecten - Cutout
  78. Repeat with Vertical en Horizontal = -5
  79. Selections - Deselect all
  80. Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 2 px dark color #28517b
  81. Effects - Plugins - Xero Porcelain - standard settings
  82. Image - Resize - 900 pixels large or smaller
  83. Add Watermark
  84. File - Save As- Give_a_name.jpg
