This lesson was written by Jille on August 1 2010 in the Dutch version from PSP 13. The lesson can be made in other versions as well.

Preparation
Install filters
Preset User_defined filter--> extract into your map presets
Extract the mask in the map Masks
Open PSP
Open tubes in the program and minimize

Material
Foreground # 808080 and background #fffff0 colors

Change Foreground color into FG-BG gradient with these settings

The lesson

  1. File - New - New image transparent checked
  2. Fill your image with the gradient
  3. Effects - Plugins - Filter Factory A - Holidays in Egypt
  4. Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance
    Result
  5. Layers - Duplicate
  6. Image - Mirror - Blend mode=Difference and Opacity = 35
  7. Effects - texture ,Effects - texture

    Result

  8. Make a copy with Shift + D and minimize
  9. Open the tube "alilarter001-sdh"
  10. With tube layer active - Edit -Copy and close
  11. Edit - Paste as new layer
  12. Move tool - Move to the left
  13. Layer palette - Opacity = 60
  14. Layers - New raster layer
  15. Selection tool - Custom Selection
  16. Edit -Copy special - Copy merged
  17. Edit - Paste as new image!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. On this little image - Layers - New raster layer
  19. Material palette- foreground color = solid color
  20. Fill with dark foreground color
  21. Layers- Load/save Mask- Load mask from disk and choose
  22. Layers - Merge - Merge group
  23. Effects - Texture Effects - Weave
  24. Layer palette - Duplicate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  25. Effects - User defined filter

    standard settings
  27. Layers - Merge - Merge all (flatten)
  28. Selections - Select all
  29. Selections - Modify - Select selection borders
  30. Foreground color = black and fill the borders with that color
  31. Selections - Select all
  32. Edit - Copy and close
  33. On your working area - Edit - Paste into selection
  34. Selections - Deselect all
  35. Again - Edit - but now- Paste as new layer
  36. Effects - Image Effects - Offset

  37. Layers - Merge - Merge all (flatten)
  38. Selections - Select all
  39. Selections - Modify - select selection borders - same settings
  40. Fill with black foreground color
  41. Selections - Deselect all
  42. Edit - Copy and close
    Result

  43. Take the copy (see item17)
  44. Make bottom line active
  45. Edit - Paste as new layer
    Layer in the middle is active
  46. Image - Resize
  47. Effects - Image Effects - Seamless tiling

    Result

  48. Layer palette - Activate bottom layer

  53. Material palette- background color locked and foreground color = light color
  54. Activate Pen tool
    with following settings
  55. Click on the digits with your pen
  56. Click apply to finish
  57. Layer palette - Convert to raster layer
  58. Layers - New raster layer!!!!!!!!!!!!
  59. Free hand tool from point to point

    Click the same digits to select that part and close at 5
  60. fill selected part with foreground color
  61. Selections deselect all
  62. Effects - Plugins - Flaming Pear - Transline
  63. Layer palette - Opacity +/- 33
  64. Layers - Merge - Merge down
  65. Activate Pen tool again same settings and draw white lines on your image. Use the existing lines as guide
  66. Layer palette - Convert to raster layer
  67. Draw a few oblique lines too
  68. Layer palette - Convert to raster layer
  69. Layer palette - Make raster 2 active
  70. Effects - Plugins - Jeu de ligne - entrelacement

  71. Layer palette - Make copy from Raster1 active
  72. Open the tube k@rine_ dreams _Golden_Skin450_Mai09
  73. Edit - Copy and close
  74. On your working area - Edit and Paste as new layer
  75. Image - Mirror
  76. Image - Resize 70%
  77. Move to the right border
  78. Effects - 3D Effects -Drop Shadow
  79. Preparation for the text
    We need a line to help us write the text in the direction we want . Take a contrasting color (I took red)

  80. Material palette- Close foreground color and background color = #fffff0
  81. settings for the text

    Activate text tool and move your cursor till you see a little bow
    Write Jeu de lignes and click Apply
  82. Layer palette -click + on the vector layer to open and close the help line (Nieuw pad)

  83. Layer palette - Convert to raster layer
  84. Effects - Plugins - AAA Filter - AAA Multifilter - texture
  85. Effects - 3D Effects -Drop Shadow


  86. Layers - Merge - Merge all (flatten)
  87. Selections - Select all
  88. Selections - Modify - Contract with 4 pixels
  89. Selections - Invert
  90. Selection - fill with light color
  91. Selections - Deselect all
  92. Layers - Duplicate
  93. Image - Resize 90% - Resize all layers not checked
    Activate bottom layer-
    Adjust - Blur - Radial Blur
  94. Layers - Merge - Merge all (flatten)
  95. mage - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 4px light color
  96. Add Watermark
  97. File - Save As- Give_a_name.jpg
