Preparation
Install the filter
Open PSP
Open tubes in your program or put them in a map of your choice.
Material
I took a light color( #ede1e1 ) for the foreground and a darker one ( #822b3e ) for the background

Material Foreground:
Foreground-Background gradient with these settings

The lesson

  1. File - New - New Image - transparent checked
  2. Flood fill tool- Fill your image with the gradient
  3. Effects - Distortion Effects - Pixelate - values = 6
  4. Effects - Edge Effects- Enhance
  5. Effects - Plugins - Vanderlee - UnpluggedX and select Spiral
  6. Edit - RepeatUnpluggedX
  7. Open this spring image
  8. Highlight the tube layer if necessary
  9. Edit - Copy
  10. Close the tube
  11. On your working area - Layers - New Raster layer
  12. Selections - Select all
  13. Edit - Paste into Selection
  14. Selections - Deselect
  15. Layers - Merge - Merge all (flatten)
    Minimize this image for a while

  16. File - New - New Image - transparent checked 800/600 pixels
  17. Flood fill tool - Fill your image with the gradient
  18. Effects - Distortion Effects - Pixelate values = 10
  19. Effects - Edge Effects- Enhance more
  20. Effects - Plugins - Vanderlee - UnpluggedX - select Spiral - same settings as used before
  21. Edit - Repeat UnpluggedX
  22. Layers - New Raster layer
  23. Selections - Custom selection (Find selection tool (S) and look for custom selection in your top menu)

    with these values
  24. Flood fill tool - Flood fill with the gradient
  25. Effects - Distortion Effects - Pixelate same settings as before
  26. Effects - Edge effects - Enhance More
  27. Selections - Deselect
  28. Effects - Plugins - Vanderlee - UnpluggedX - select Shimmer Black
    Pay attention - apply this filter just once
  29. Layers - Duplicate
  30. Image - Flip
  31. Layers - Merge - Merge down
  32. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow

    This is the result
  33. Maximize the image from item15
  34. Edit - Copy
  35. You may close without saving
  36. On your working area - Edit - Paste as New Layer
  37. Layers - Arrange - move down
  38. Activate top layer again
  39. Open the flower tube
  40. Window - Duplicate (of Shift D on your keybord) - close the original and proceed with the copy
  41. Highlight the tube layer if necessary
  42. Image - Resize - 80% smart size
  43. Edit - Repeat Resize
  44. Edit - Copy
  45. Image - Mirror - you may close now without saving
  46. On your working area - Edit - Paste as New Layer
  47. With the Move tool- place against the right border
  48. Layers - Duplicate -close this layer for the moment and return to the original tube layer
  49. Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur radius 12
  50. Move a little to the left and with the Tool Pick (K on your keyboard)

    pull the tube to the border again
  51. open the top layer again and lower the opacity to 52
  52. Open the tube with the lady
  53. Highligt the tube layer and
  54. Image - Resize 90% - Resize all layers not checked
  55. Edit - Copy
    Close without saving
  56. On your working area - Edit - Paste as New Layer
  57. Move Tool - move to the left (a little outside the image)
  58. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow
  59. Preparations for the text
    Material palette - change gradient into solid color and flip the colors
    Dark color is now your foreground color
  60. With your text tool and these settings (ballet = 100 ) - Type SPRING in capitals
  61. PSP 13 users click on the check mark in the top menu otherwise click apply
  62. Make the text a little wider
  63. Objects - Align -Horiz. center in canvas
  64. Layer palette- convert into raster layer
  65. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow

    Example
  66. Layers - Merge - Merge all (flatten)
  67. Image -Add Borders- symmetric checked - 15 pixels with the dark foreground color
  68. With the Magic Wand Tool - select this border (tolerance and feather = 0)
  69. Effects - 3D effects -cutout with these settings - shadow color = black
  70. and repeat with these settings
  71. Selections - Deselect
  72. Image -Add Borders- symmetric checked - 1 pixel black
  73. Add your watermark
  74. Image - resize (smart size)
    Or smaller if that suits you better
  75. File - Save as - jpg

I made this background too :

  1. File - New - new transparent image 400/400 pixels
  2. Flood fill tool - Flood fill with the gradient
  3. Effects - Distortion Effects - Pixelate with values 10 (same as used before)
  4. Effects - Edge effects - Enhance More
  5. Selections - Deselect
  6. Effects - Plugins - Vanderlee - UnpluggedX - Spiral - same settings
  7. Effects - Distortion effects- twirl
  8. Effects - Image effects- Seamless tiling
  9. Selections - Select all
  10. Selections contract 2 pixels
  11. Image - Crop to selection
  12. Selections - Deselect
  13. File - Save as - jpg
