EXTRA EXAMPLE

  • Material:
      • 1 Image: IMAGE_SAFIERA.jpg : open in your PSP program
      • * PSP file: @nn_110408_Safiera_1.pspimage, open in your PSP program,
      • (I added an other file, named Colorize - that one can be colorized if necessary)
      • * 3 brushes: @nn_110408_brush_0215_tdstudio.PspBrush, @nn_110408_brush_0212_tdstudio.PspBrush and @nn_110408_brush_0210_tdstudio.PspBrush, extract into your map
      • C:\Users\yourname\Documents\My PSP-files\Brushes
      • I add an extra file for those who work with a previous version of PSP: @nn_110408_Safiera_letters_ COLORIZE.pspimage . You can colorize is necessary (the brush is larger than 500 px and does not work in previous versions, that's why I add this extra file)
      • * 1 selection: @nn_Safiera_sel_001_110408_tdstudio.PspSelection, extract to the map:
      • ------- ›› C:\Users\yourname\Documents\My PSP-files\\Selections

        Install filters.
  • Prepatration
     Foregound color #8f7f75 ,background color #484c4f (if you wish to use different colours, select nice matching colours with no big contrast)
    Change the foreground colour to gradient ( foregr-backgr ) with settings shown below:

    Resize if you decide to take images of your own:



    If you use other colours, feel free to change the opacity and blend mode of the layers



    Tutorial

  1. Open your Image named IMAGE_SAFIERA.jpg
  2. Window - duplicate, close the original and proceed with the copy
  3. Image – photo frame, select the frame @nn_Safiera_Frame_110408_tdstudio.pspframe in the list:
    If you work with different colours you can colorize this frame afterwards
  4. Your frame, edit - copy special - copy merged , minimize this frame
  5. File - new Image:


  6. Flood fill with gradient
  7. Effects - Plugins MuRa's Seamless - Shift at wave with these settings:


    Result:
  8. With your text tool and these settings :
    Pay attention: create as VECTOR


    Write: SAFIERA in CAPITALS !!!!!!!!!
  9. Objects align - center on canvas
  10. Layers – convert to raster layer
  11. Effects - plug-in - MuRa's Meister - Copies with settings shown below:
    your BG Color = BLACK


  12. Activate your layer palette - opacity = 10, blend mode = Overlay
    (or other if you work with different colours)
  13. Window - duplicate and minimize,
    proceed with the original (the other will serve us for making the background)
  14. Edit - paste as a new layer (your frame is still in memory)
  15. Effects - plug-in - Alien skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - Perspective Shadow and choose my preset
    @nn_Safiera_EC5_PS_01.f1s see Settings
  16. Layers - merge - merge all layers
  17. Activate your selection tool and choose Octagon (modus = add; feather = 50)


    Start drawing the selection in the left top corner and end in the right bottom corner
    The print screen shows the selection enlarged due to feather 50:
  18. Selections - Invert
  19. Selections – promote selection to layer
  20. Selections - deselect
  21. Activate your layer palette - blend mode = Overlay (or other if you use different colours)..

  22. Layers - merge - merge all layers
  23. Effects - plugin Bordermania - Frame#2 with settings shown below:

  25. Adjust - sharpness - unsharp mask:

    if you use light colours decrease the Intensity.
  41. Effects - Plugins Flaming Pear - Flood choose my preset @nn_Safiera_flood.q8r click on open and select my preset in your map
  42. Layers - new raster layer
  43. Selections - selections load/save selection- load selection from disk and choose my selection op --- >>

  44. Change your foreground colour into white
  45. Flood fill your selection with WHITE
  46. Selections –deselect
  47. Activate your layers palette - opacity = 40
  48. Activate your psp file @nn_110408_Safiera_1.pspimage, edit - copy
  49. Activate your working area
  50. Edit - paste as a new layer
    If you use your own material open @nn_110408_Safiera_colorize_1.pspimage (that one you can colorize)
  51. Effects - Image effects - offset:
  52. Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow with settings shown below:
  53. Activate your working area that you minimized before
  54. Edit - copy
  55. Edit - Paste as new layer :
