PREPARATION:

Foreground color = white

1. Tip: Feel free to change the opacity and blend mode from the layers if you use material of your own choice Use colors that match well and if necessary use the program ColorShemer , to help you choose .

The lesson :

1. File - New Image:
   
2. selections - Select all
3. Activate the image_alizee_001.jpg
4. Edit - Copy
5. Edit - Paste into selection
6. selections - deselect all
7. Effects - Image effects - seamless tiling:
   
8. Effects - Distortion effects - wind:
   
9. Edit - repeat Wind
10. Effects - Plugins - 2Manekenai(tm) - Mezzoforce ice with these settings:
    
11. Effects - Plugins - Graphics Plus - Cross shadow:
    (evt. lower intensity if necessary)
    
12. Layers - Duplicate
13. Effects - Plugins - Richard Rosenman - Halftone with these settings:
    color: #FFFFFF
    
14. Activate the Layer palette, opacity 30, blend mode: Dodge
    
15. Activate this file: @nn_301210_Alizee_001_tdstudio.pspimage
16. Edit - Copy
17. Edit - Paste as new layer on your working area
18. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow:
    
19. Layer palette: Opacity from the layer 50%
    
20. Activate this file: @nn_301210_Alizee_lines_tdstudio.pspimage
    (do you prefer to take an other image, replace the bottom layer and resize)
21. Edit - Copy special - Copy merged
22. Edit - Paste as new layer on your working area
    
23. Decrease the opacity to 90% in the Layer palette
24. Layers - new raster layer
25. selections -load/save selection- load selection from disk and choose my selection:

26. Flood fill tool - fill with the white foreground color
    
27. selections - deselect all
28. Effects - Plugins - Tramages - Wee scratches:
    
29. Again: load selection from disk and reload the same selection:
    @nn_311210_selection_001_Alizee_tdstudio
30. Delete on your keyboard
31. selections - deselect all
32. Activate the Layer palette: blend mode: soft light
    
33. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow:
    
34. Layers - Duplicate, this is the result:
    (not necessary but allowed)
    
35. Layers - new raster layer
36. Flood fill with white
37. Layers - new mask layer - from image
    and select my mask:
    
38. Layers - merge - merge group
39. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow:
    
40. Repeat drop shadow
41. Activate the Layer palette, blend mode = Soft light:
    
42. Activate the brush tool and select my brush:

43. Layers - new raster layer
44. Place the brush here (left side of your work)
    
45. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow with these settings:
    
46. Activate the Layer palette and decrease the opacity to 70%
    
47. Layers - new raster layer
48. Activate the Brush tool and select the 2d brush:

49. Place the brush here:

51. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow:
    
52. Activate the Layer palette, opacity 75%, blend mode: Overlay
    
53. Layers - new raster layer
54. Again Brush tool and select 3th brush

55. Place brush as follows:
    
    
    
56. Activate the Layer palette and decrease the opacity to 70%
    
57. Layers - new Raster layer
58. Activate Brush tool again and select brush 4:

59. Place the brush in the frame :
    
60. Activate the Layer palette and change blend mode to OVERLAY
61. Layers - new raster layer
62. Brush tool again and select brush 5:
    @nn_311210_brushes_Alizee_005_tdstudio
    
63. Place the brush on the bottom left:
    
64. In the Layer palette: change blend mode to soft light
65. Change the colors, white is now your background color
66. Activate the text tool with these settings (attention KERNING (= Spatiering) = 100):
    
67. Typethe text in capitals: ALIZEE
68. Click the green checkmark to apply
    
69. Layers - Convert to raster layer
70. Move see the print screens below:
    
    
    
71. Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - Extrude - choose my preset on tab SETTINGS:
    
72. Activate the Layer palette, blend mode = Multiply
    
73. Activate your text tool again with these (different) settings
    
74. Typeyour text (same text)
75. Again - click the green checkmark to apply
76. Layers - Convert to raster layer
77. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow:
    
78. Move the text to a nice place, I put mine here:
    
79. Layers - Merge - Merge all (flatten)
80. Effects - Plugins - Unlimited 2.0:
    
81. selections - Select all
82. selections - Modify - contract with 5 px
83. selections - Modify - Select the selection borders:
    
84. Flood fill tool and fill selection with the white color
85. selections - deselect all
86. Place your watermark and save as a JPG file
