foreground color = WHITE, background color: choose #484c4f or another dark color

To start the lesson, your material palette looks like this:

- Open a new image:
File - New - new image: with the background color (right click in the color and your recently used colors will appear):

- Layers - new raster layer
- Flood fill with the foreground color/texture

- Selections –load/save selection –load selection from disc and choose:

Pay attention: match mode = none

- Selections -deselect
- Layers - new raster layer
- Effects - geometric effects- pentagon:
color = white

- Activate your layer palette, opacity: 100, blend mode: soft light

Edit - copy
Activate your tag, edit - paste as a new layer
- Effects – image effects - offset:

- Effects – image effects - offset (obligate! do not replace at random)

- Effects - plug-in - EC 5 impact - perspective shadow choose my preset (click tab SETTINGS):

- Selections - modify - contract: 2 px
- Edit - wipe (or click delete on your keyboard)
- Flood fill the selection with the foreground/texture

- Selections - deselect

PAY ATTENTION shadow on new layer CHECKED

Your layer palette looks like this:

- Activate the top layer!!!!!!!!
- Layers - duplicate
- Image – free rotate:

- Effects – image effects - offset:

- Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow:
Pay attention shadow on new layer unchecked, same color

- close bottom layer but keep top layer active

- Layers - merge - merge layers visibly
- open bottom layer again but keep top layer active

- Activate the magic wand with settings shown below: (match mode = add)

- click in the middle:

- Layers - new raster layer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Effects - 3D effects - cutout with settings shown below:
colour black

- Selections – deselect all
- Layers - new raster layer
- Activate the brush tool and choose the brush:
@nn_2009_brush_Lisanne_000_tdstudio.PspBrush

stamp as follows with the dark background color :

- Effects - plug-in - Fotomatic - skygrad with these settings:


- Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow:
same color.

- Layer palette, opacity 65, blend mode: normal

- Layers - new raster layer
- Select brush tool again and choose the brush:
@nn_2009_brush_Lisanne_002_tdstudio.PspBrush

Stamp as shown on the print screen below by using your dark background color:

- repeat drop shadow:

- Layers - new raster layer
- brush tool again

Stamp with the foreground/texture see example

- Layers - new raster layer
- Again brush tool: choose @nn_brushes_tds_buttons_mmc.PspBrush

Stamp with the background color (see example) and repeat it twice on the same place:

Change the rotation from the brush into 90

and stamp in the left bottom corner. Repeat twice on the same place:

- Effects - fotomatic - skygrad change the value on top:

- Repeat drop shadow:

This is what you have now:

- Layers - new raster layer
- Activate the brush tool and choose:
@nn_2009_brush_bomen_001_tdstudio.PspBrush
Pat attention change the brush size into 350

Stamp twice on the same place with the foreground/texture:

- With the selection tool (feather 15)

Select as follows

The selection will become larger (due to the feather value) click DELETE to get the fade-away effect we want to obtain-->> deselect
you will have this:
- Activate the tube @nn_170109_005_birds_JAG_tdstudio_grey_1BIRD.pspimage
Edit - copy and paste as an new layer on your tag
- Move with the move tool:
- Effects - plug-in - EC5 impact - motion trail and choose my preset (tab SETTINGS):
- Layers - merge - merge all layers
- Effects - plug-in - unlimited 2.0 - buttons and frames choose :
- save as a JPG
