  1. TIP: try to alter blend mode and opacity from the layers and if you choose to use different colors, pick nice harmonious colors. The program ColorShemer is very handy and can be of great help.

The lesson:

  1. Open the file: @nn_050910_bg_zelia_SB2_tdstudio.jpg (colorize ifyou use different colors)

  2. Window - duplicate
  3. Close the original and proceed with the copy
  4. Effects - Plugins - Crescent moon - Cutglass with these settings:

  5. Effects - Plugins VanDerLee - Unplugged X:
    COLOR: White !!!!!! do not forget to change the Transparency.

  18. Activate the layer palette: opacity: 100, blend mode: Overlay

    Edit - Copy special - copy merged
    Edit - Paste as new layer on your working area

  57. Paste as new layer on your working area (background)
  58. Activate the layer palette and blend mode = Overlay:

  61. You may choose to use the filter again: Namesuppressed - Softner: Preset: Soft and Fluffy
  62. Save both as JPG and you might choose to put it in a script.
