PREPARATIONS:

Foregroundcolor = White

  1. Tip: Feel free to change the opacity and blend mode from the layers if you use material of your own choice Use colors that match well and if necessary use the program ColorShemer, to help you choose.

The lesson

  1. File - New Image: :

  2. Selections - Select all
  3. Activate image: image_sunflower_001.jpg
  4. Edit - Copy
  5. Edit - Paste into selection
  6. Selections - Deselect all
  7. Effects - Image effects - Seamless tiling:

  8. Layers - Duplicate
  9. Adjust - Hue and saturation- colorize with these values: 15/30
  10. Layers - New mask layer - from Image and choose my first mask:

  11. Layers - Merge - Merge group
  12. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow with these settings:
    Color: White

  13. Layers - Merge - merge all (flatten)
  14. Layers - Duplicate
  15. Effects - reflection Effects - feedback:

  16. Activate layer palette - blend mode = Hard light:

  17. Effects - Edge effects - Enhance
  18. Activate the image: image_sunflower_001.jpg
  19. Layers - New mask layer - from Image and choose my 2d mask:

  20. Layers - Merge - Merge group
  21. Edit - Copy
  22. Edit - Paste as new layer on your working area
  23. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:
    Color = White

  24. Repeat Drop Shadow

  27. Layers - New mask layer - from Image and choose my third mask:

  40. selections -load/save selection- load selection from disk and choose my selection : @nn_080511_Selectie_001_Tia_tdstudio

  41. Zoom in and fill selection with a color of your choice, I took white
  42. Selections - Deselect all !!!!!!!
  43. Activate Magic Wand Tool with these settings:
    Attention - copy exactly!

  46. Edit - Copy
  47. Edit - Paste into selection
  48. Adjust - Sharpness - unsharp mask:

  49. Selections - Deselect all
  50. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow:
    Color: black

  51. Activate the file: @nn_080511_text_Tia_tdstudio.pspimage
  52. Edit - Copy
  53. Edit - Paste as new layer on your working area
  54. Move to the right border

  56. Activate layer palette and change blend mode into Soft light
  57. Layers - Duplicate
  58. Again layer palette and chang blend mode to Overlay
  59. Activate the misted tube: @nn_190411_035_misted_YDF-faceBiColor_2__tdstudio_mirror.pspimage
  60. Edit - Copy
  61. Edit - Paste as new layer on your working area

    Layer "Large" is activated.
