2 Images (a tall and a small), a mask, an extra image, pspfile, font and selection

Let’s do it:

 

Minimize font and extract your material into the right maps.

 

Unzip photomosaique into a map of your choice.

 

Size of my images 640x454 px

Open the  programm Photomasaique

 

Fichier - ouvrir (= open) and select your image named 'les006_eyewithstone' this image has size 640x454 px

Settings see printscreen:

 

 

 

Click to  ‘save’

 

 

In the next screen, save as a jpg and give it the name 'mosaic' Click OK

 

Close the programm and answer NO

 

Back to your psp program. Open the file that you just edited with mosaic

 

Open all your images. (Size of the image flower = 454 px height)

 

Activate the image mosaic

 

Foreground color = #4c6083

 

Layer palette, new raster layer

 

Flood fill the layer with this color.

 

Layer palette – blend mode = hard light

 

Layer palette, merge, merge visibly

Pay attention, NO NEW Layer  for the next step

 

Make the selection tool active and choose  - custom selection

 

 

Settings shown below:

 

 

 

Selection - promote selection to layer

 

Deselect

 

Layer palette – blend mode = hard light

 

Effects - Filter - FM Tile tool - Blend Emboss

 

Activate the image 'flower'

 

Layers - load mask from disk see settings

 

 

Layer palette – merge, merge group

 

Edit – copy – edit – paste as a new layer

 

Here I colorized , because it fitted better in my work

 

adjust – hue and saturation – colorize  160-255

 

Activate pspfile 'roundrectangle_lines'

Edit – copy, edit – paste as a new layer on your working area

 

Layer palette, new raster layer

 

Selection -  load from disk and choose selection '@nn_sel002_mo'

 

Flood fill selection with white

 

Deselect

 

Layer palette - opacity 75%

 

Layer palette: merge, merge down

 

Effects - 3D effects – drop schadow horz/vert 0, opacity 75, blur 8, color white

 

Activate the small image, (if you take a different one, size = max. 206 px width, white border included)

 

Edit – copy – edit – paste as a new layer, rename this layer (small image)

 

Put the image on the little blocks

 

Layer palette, arrange, move down

 

This layer (small image) remains active

 

Duplicate layer

 

Layer palette:  activate the layer  'small image ' (not the copied one)

 

Effects – distortion effects - wind  settings: from left - 100

 

Layer palette, merge, merge visibly

 

Image, add borders  1px white

 

Save now, so you can use your work later on with an other text

 

Layer palette, new raster layer

 

Foreground color = locked,  background color = white

 

Activate your text tool and choose your  font

 

Size 72, floating

 

Move text, see example

 

Effects - 3D effects drop schadw horz/vert 0, opacity 75, blur 8, color =  #000040

 

Choose if you use the text the way it is or change blend mode to overlay as I did

 

Activate the bottom layer on layer palette

 

Adjust, softness, soft focus see settings

 

 

Layer palette, merge, merge all

 

Save as a jpg
