Extra example + extra tips for blending

Attention: if you take other images, take the same dimensions as this lesson. !!!!!

With other colors: Adjust - hue/saturation - colorize

Material:

2 images, font, brush, tube, achtergrond en masker klik here

Filters:

Lokas Software - 3D shadow, EC 4000

Working method:

Open your background 'September' and your 2 images as well as your tube,
the brush and mask in the pre-defined folder, minimize your font

Open a new image 640x480 px transparent

Selections - select all

Background_September_TG edit and copy - paste into your selection

Deselect

Activate your image 'september001', shift + d and minimize the original and continue working with the copy.

Edit - copy and paste as a new layer, move see print screen:

Layers -load/save mask - load mask from disk with these settings:

Layers - merge - merge group

Now take your image 'september002', shift + d, minimize the original and continue working with the copy.
Edit - copy and paste as a new layer

Move against the left and bottom side

Layers - mask loading from disk but now with these settings:

Layers - merge - merge group

Low new raster layer

Effects - artistic effects - balls and bubbles with these settings:

Layers duplicate

Layer palette:BURN (if you choose Dissolve, you will also get a surprising result, just try it)

Take your image september001

Image resize with 100 px high, intelligent

Image - add border of 10 px black

Edit - copy - paste as a new layer

Move to bottom right, stay 10 px from right and bottom, turn on your rulers if necessary

Take your image september002

Image resize 100 px high, intelligent

Image - add border 10 px black

Edit - copy - paste as a new layer

Move to top left, stay 10 px from left and top side

Layers - merge - merge down and rename this layer to 'two frames

Layers duplicate

Layer palette: go to your layer 'two frames

Effects - distortion effects - wind: from right - 100

Repeat: from the left - 100

Activate your top layer in your layer palette

Take your tool 'Oval' with these settings note 'make VECTOR'.

Set your foreground to a different colour e.g. fluorescent rose, lock background

Take now a circle as big as the print screen below:

Foreground color to WHITE, your background color is still locked

Activate your text tool with these settings:

Now moove your mouse over the circle until you see an arc underneath your letter A, click and then you can type.

Type your text, your text will be written in an arc around the circle

Effects - 3 D effects - drop shadow with these settings: 1 - 1 - 100 - 1 black

Again but now 2 - 2 - 75 - 8 black

Deselect

Go to your layer palette, make your coloured circle invisible by clicking on the eye or remove this vector layer.

Layers - visible merge

Take the flower tube, edit - copy - paste as a new layer

Image - resize by 40%, intelligent, size of all layers not checked

Move it like a print screen:

Adjust - hue and saturation - colorize: 160 - 117

Effects - 3 D effects - drop shadow with these settings: 1 - 1 - 100 - 1 black

Effects - Lokas Software - 3D shadow with these settings:

shadow position: Front

(with other tubes, play with the settings for a while)

Activate your bottom layer in your layer palette

Effects - Lightning effects - sun with these settings:

Image- add borders see settings below:

Layer - new raster layer

Your foreground color on WHITE

Take your brush and find your brush hbgbrushes 0003 001 default settings.

Stamp your brushes as for example my blend 'september' see above but stay parallel.

Duplicate layers

Mirror image

Image - add borders of 1 px black

Save as a . jpg file

After this you can use OptikVerveLabs for the enthusiasts.

 

Extra example:

I've added 2 more applications:

After the very last edit you do this:

Shift + d, Script: Airbrush and Ink, let the script do its work, then edit - copy

Go back to your original, first apply Filter OptikVerveLabs (Ambience).

Edit - paste as a new layer

Layer Palette: Soft light, and one obtains the effect as below depending on the images you use.
