Preparation
Install filters
Extract Emboss 3 in your map PRESETS
Extract the selections into your map Selections
Open your program
Open the tubes in the program and minimize

Material

I took #a57c24 for the foreground and #3d3025 for the background
Foreground Material: prepare a foreground - background gradient with these settings

If you use different colors or material , feel free to change the opacity and/or the blend mode from the layers

The lesson

  1. File - New - New Image and choose the gradient
  2. Layers - New Raster layer
  3. Selections - Select all
  4. Open de Image: landschap_bing.jpg
  5. Edit - Copy and close
  6. On your working area - Paste into selection
  7. Layers - New Raster layer
  8. Open de Image: landkaart_bing.jpg
  9. Edit - Copy and close
  10. On your working area - Paste into selection
  11. Selections - Deselect all
  12. Layer palette - Opacity 30 and Blend mode = Luminance (legacy)
  13. Effects - User defined filter- Emboss 3 (standard settings)

    Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow - 1/1/100/1 shadow color = black
  79. Material for the borders- Open material from the foreground and restore color #a57c24 - background color = #3d3025 (we started the lesson with these colors)
  80. Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 2 pixels background color
  81. Selections - Select all
  82. Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 30 pixels foreground color
  83. Selections - Invert
  84. At item 28 we made a copy
    On this copy - Layers - merge - merge all (flatten)
