Borderline

This lesson was written by me, Jille, on March 28, 2010 in the Dutch version of PSPX3. The lesson can be made in other versions as well.
I followed my own ideas, any connection with an existing lesson is a coincidence.

Preparation
Put Filters in Filter map
Put Selections into the map with Selections
Place texture into the map with textures
Place mask in the map with masks
Install or minimize the font I used
Open PSP
Open the tubes in your program and minimize or put into a map of your choice
.
Material
I choose two colors from the tube: the darkest #00306d for the foreground and a lighter one # 005a90 for the background

The lesson

1. Open tube k@rine_ dreams _Pretty_Blue_974_MARS 2010, activate the tube layer
   
2. Make 2 copies with shift D on your keyboard - Close the original tube
3. On the first copie: Layers - Merge - Merge All (Flatten)
4. Image - Resize - 300 pixels height - Smart Size- Resize all layers checked
5. Effects - Plugins - AAA Frames - Framework
   
   Result
   
6. I will refer to this image as Frame - minimize it for a while
   
   
7. File - New - New Image-transparent checked - 800/600 pixels
   
8. Effects - Plugins - Mura's Meister - Cloud
   
9. Activate the second copy that you made at the beginning of this lesson
   
10. Edit - Copy and close
    
11. On your working area -Edit - Paste as new Layer
    Do not resize this tube
12. Move Tool - Move to the right - shoulder against the border
13. Layer palette - Decrease opacity to 30 and blend mode to Soft Light
14. Layers - Duplicate
15. Image - Mirror
    Result
    
16. Pay attention, do not forget - make a copy with shift D and minimize for a few steps
17. On our working area - Layers - Merge - Merge All (Flatten)
18. Layers - Duplicate
19. Layers– Load/Save Mask – Load Mask from Disk and load Adidasmask7
    
20. Layers - Merge - Merge Group
21. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow
    
22. Effects - Edge Effects- Enhance
    
23. Layers - New Raster layer
24. Material palette - foreground color = #00BF00
    
25. Selection Tool - Custom Selection - with these values
    
26. Flood Fill Tool - fill with the green foreground color

31. Layer palette - Change the blend mode from both tube layers into Hard light
32. Selections - Load/Save Selection- Load Selection from Disk and choose borderline

35. On your working area -Load same selection
36. Layers - new Raste rlayer
37. Layer palette -opacity between 65and 70

42. Selections - Modify - Contract with 2 pixels
43. Push delete on your keyboard
44. Selections - Modify - Contract with 2 pixels

    Activate the tube layer

57. On your working area - Edit - Paste as a New Layer
58. Move Tool - Move the flower under the selection

60. Delete on your keyboard

62. Image - Resize - 70% -Smart Size- Resize all layers not checked

66. Layers - Merge - Merge Down
67. Layer palette -Opacity 63 and blend mode Hard Light
    
68. Activate the Frame we made at point 6
69. Edit - Copy and close
    
70. On your working area - Edit - Paste as New Layer

    Write Borderline - clic Apply (or the check mark in the top menu if you work witht PSP X3)

80. Layers - Duplicate

99. Put watermark or write a short text as I did, using the green color
    I wrote made by Jille with font Brush script MT, size 48
100. Image - resize - to your choice
101. File - Save As- Give_a_Name.jpg
