Halloween

This lesson was written by Jille on October 2d 2010 in the Dutch version from PSP 13. The lesson can be made in other versions as well.

Preparation
Place mask 120-Kris in your map Masks
Place the texture in the map textures
Minimize the font
Open PSP program
Open tubes in the program and minimize
Open the mask maske061_sigrid in PSP !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Materials
I took #FF1900 as foreground color and #3F0000 as background color

Change Foreground color into FG-BG gradient with these settings


The lesson

1. File - New - New image transparent checked
   
2. Flood fill with the gradient
3. Effects - Texture Effects - Texture
   
4. Layers - New raster layer
5. Selections - Select all
   
6. Open the tube Anna.pspimage
   
7. Tube layer is active - Edit - Copy and close
   
8. On your working area - Edit - Paste into selection
9. Layer palette - opacity =53
10. Selections - Deselect all
11. Layers - Merge - merge visible
12. Layers duplicate
13. Layers -New mask layer - from image - Mask061_sigrid
    
14. Layers - merge - merge group
15. Effects - Edge effects- Enhance
16. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow
    
    
17. Open the tube hallo_spookygal
    
18. With the tube layer active - Edit - Copy and close
    
19. On your working area - Edit - Paste as new layer

21. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow
    
    and again with foreground color

23. Layer palette - opacity = 18 blend mode = Dissolve
    
24. Activate bottom layer - Image - Canvas size
    
25. Magic Wand Tool- Tolerance and feather = 0 - click in the transparent area
26. Layer palette -promote selection to layer
27. Layer palette - Arrange -bring to top - selection remains
    
28. Flood Fill Tool -fill selection with foreground gradient- selection remains
29. Layers - new raster layer - fill with background color
30. Selections - Deselect all
31. Layers- Load/save Mask- Load mask from disk and choose
    
32. Layers - Merge - Merge group
    
33. Open the tubeYoka-FashionModel-23-11-05
    
34. Tube layer = active - Edit - Copy and close
    
35. On your working area - Edit - Paste as new layer
36. Move to the left at the top
37. Layer palette - opacity 30
    
38. Preparation for text - Material palette - foreground color = closed and background color = light color
    
39. Text tool with these settings
    
    Write on bottom left Halloween
40. Move if necessary
    
41. Layer palette - convert to raster layer
42. Effects- Texture effects - Blinds - dark foreground color
    
43. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow
    Pay attention - shadow on new layer unchecked
    
44. Open tekstfile_gedicht
45. Edit - Copy and close
46. On your working area - Paste as new layer
    
47. Image - Resize - 950 pixels or smaller
    
    
48. Layers - Merge - merge all (flatten)
49. Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 2 pixels light background color
50. Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 2 pixels dark foreground color
51. Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 2 pixels light background color
52. Selections - Select all
53. Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 20 pixels dark foreground color
54. Selections - Invert
55. Effects - Texture Effects - Texture same settings but size = 30 %
56. Effects - 3D Effects - Inner bevel
    
57. Selections - Deselect all
58. Add Watermark
59. File - Save As- Give_a_name.jpg
