Merry Christmas-2

I used the Pink Christmas kit offered by Winni's Groups
I used an image from the web that I misted into a tube

Preparation
Place the selection in your map Selections
Minimize the font in the back of the PC
Open your PSP program
Open the Christmas kit, the tube and the pattern in your program and minimize them

Material : Choose a nice color for the foreground, I took #730008
Choose a nice color for the background I took #c4849f
Change the material from the background into pattern an select “my_pattern.jpeg”

The lesson

Step 1
Maximize the tube Pink Christmas kit
Highlight the layer Med BG


Edit – Copy

Step 2
File – New – New image – Transparent checked


Selections – Select All
Selections - Paste into Selection
Selections – Select None

Step 3
Layers – New Raster Layer
Selections – Load/Save Selection- Load Selection from Disk – choose Jille_1

Flood Fill Tool – Flood fill the selection with the foreground color
Selections – Modify – Contract 2 pixels
Edit – Clear

Step 4
Layers – New Raster Layer
Flood Fill Tool – Flood fill the selection with the background pattern
Selections – Select None
Highlight raster 2
Magic Wand Tool – with these settings

Click in the middle of the rectangle top left
Selections – Modify – Feather 45
Highlight the top Layer again
Layers – New Raster Layer

Step 5
Maximize the misted tube Christmas
Highlight the tube layer
Edit – Copy
You may close the tube

Step 6
On your working area
Edit – Paste into Selection
Selections – Select none
Highlight Raster 2
Effects – 3D Effects – Drop Shadow – background color

Highlight the Pink Christmas kit again
Highlight the layer Tag
Edit – Copy

Step 11
On your working area
Edit – Paste as New Layer
Move Tool – move to the left

Step 12
Highlight the Pink Christmas kit again
Highlight the layer Ribbon greetings
Edit – Copy

Step 13
On your working area
Edit – Paste as New Layer
Layer Palette – Arrange – Move Down
Move Tool – arrange as I did

Step 14
Highlight the Pink Christmas kit again
Highlight the layer Bells
Edit – Copy

Step 15
On your working area
Edit – Paste as New Layer
Move Tool – move to a nice spot

Step 16
Highlight the Pink Christmas kit again
Highlight the layer Tree
Edit – Copy

Step 17
On your working area
Edit – Paste as New Layer
Move Tool – move to a nice spot

Highlight the Pink Christmas kit again
Highlight the layer Merged (angel on a chain)
Edit – Copy

Step 19
On your working area
Edit – Paste as New Layer
Move Tool – move to a nice spot
This is my example (I removed the chain from the angel)

Layers – Merge – Merge Visible
Layers new Raster Layer
Flood Fill Tool - flood fill this Layer with the foreground color
Selections – Select All
Selections – Modify – Contract 2
Edit – Clear
Selections - Select None

Step 21

Image - Add Borders – Symmetric unchecked

Magic Wand Tool – same settings as used before – Select this border
Flood Fill Tool – flood fill the selection with the background pattern
Selections – Select None

Step 22

Image – Rotate Left
With the Text Tool and these settings

Write Christmas
Objects – Align – Horiz. Center in Canvas
Layer palette – convert to Raster Layer
Effects – 3D Effects – Drop Shadow same settings
Image – Rotate Right

Step 23
With the Text Tool and these settings

Write Merry
Layer palette – convert to Raster Layer
Effects – 3D Effects – Drop Shadow same settings
Move tool – Place the text on top of Christmas

Step 24
Repeat step 23, but this time write your name and place it under Christmas
This is my result

Step 25
Image – Merge – Merge Visible
Image - Add Borders – Symmetric checked
2 pixels Foreground color
You may wish to add your watermark

Step 26
Image – Resize – All layers checked
700 pixels width – Intelligent
Or smaller if that suits you better
File – Save As – give-a-name.jpg

So we are done
