Moonlight Dancing

This lesson was written by Jille on July 9th 2010 in the Dutch version from PSP 13. The lesson can be made in other versions as well.
Filter Xero Porselain can give difficulties in the newer versions higher than PSP 16

I followed my own ideas, any resemblance with an existing lesson is a coincidence

Preparation
- Install the filters
- Extract selections into the map Selections
- Extract the texture into the map Textures
- Open PSP
- Open the tubes in a map of your choice or in the program PSP
- Open the background in the program

Material
I took a light color( # dff3fc ) for the foreground and a darker one ( #acc2e7) for the background
Material Foreground - change into Foreground-Background gradient with these settings

The lesson

  1. Open the background flora & birds_16
  2. Make a selection around the image (border not included
    Edit - Copy and close without saving
  3. File - New - New image transparent checked
  4. Selections - Select all
  5. Edit - Paste into selection
  6. Selections - Deselect all
  7. Layers - New Raster layer
  8. Flood Fill Tool - Fill the layer with the gradient
  9. Effects - Plugins - Mura's Meister - Cloud


    On the same layer!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Effects - Plugins - <IC Net Software> Filters Unlimited 2 - Tramages - Perforator1

    Still on the same layer
  11. Selections - Custom selection (518 -0 - 600 - 800)
  12. Layer palette - Promote selection to layer
  13. Effects - Texture Effects - Texture (background color)
  14. Material palette - foreground color = White
  15. Selections - Load/Save selection- Load selection from disk and load Moonlight_D1
  16. Flood Fill Tool - fill with white
  17. Selections - Deselect all
  18. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow with these settings
  19. Layers - Duplicate
  20. Effects - Plugins - Vanderlee - Unplugged X - Blobspike with background color
  21. Effects - Texture Effects - Texture with these settings

    Result
  22. Effects - Distortion Effects - Wave with these settings and background color
  23. Layer palette - Blend Mode = Soft light

    On the same layer
  24. Selections - Load/Save selection- Load selection from disk and load Moonlight_D2
  25. Press delete key on your keyboard
  26. Material palette as at the beginning - foreground color = #dff3fc and gradient on the foreground
  27. Layers - New Raster layer
  28. Selections - Load/Save selection- Load selection from disk and load Moonlight_D3
  29. Flood Fill Tool - fill selection wih the gradient
  30. Materiaal pallet - foreground color = white
  31. Selections - Modify - Select selection borders
  32. Flood Fill Tool - fill with white
  33. Selection - load/save selection and reload the same selection Moonlight_D3
  34. Effects - Texture Effects - Blinds
  35. Selections - Deselect all
  36. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow change color into = #284e77

    On the same layer
  37. Selections - Load/Save selection- Load selection from disk and load Moonlight_D4
    Edit - Copy Special - Copy merged
  38. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow same settings
  39. Selections - Deselect all
  40. Edit - Paste as new layer
  41. Image - Mirror
  42. Image - Flip
  43. Effects - Image Effects - Offset
  44. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow same settings
  45. Open tube @nn_180606_SoftReply_TD_©
  46. Edit - Copy and close
  47. Edit - Paste as new layer
  48. Move tool - drag to the right and bottom borders
  49. Layer palette - blend mode Luminance (L)
  50. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow same settings
  51. On the same layer
    Selections - Load/Save selection - Load selection from disk and load Moonlight_D5
  52. Press delete on your keyboard
  53. Selections - Deselect all
    Result

  54. Material palette -as at the beginning (foreground color = #dff3fc)
  55. Activate Text Tool with these settings
  56. Write Moonlight
  57. Click Apply
  58. Layer palette - Convert to raster layer
  59. Move see example ( item 62)
  60. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow
  61. Activate Text tool again and write Dancing
  62. Click Apply
  63. Layer palette - Convert to raster layer
  64. Move see example
  65. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow - same settings

  66. Open the tube Anna
  67. Edit - Copy and close
  68. Edit - Paste as new layer
  69. Image - Resize
  70. Move tool - move to a nice spot
  71. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow
  72. Layers - Merge - Merge All (Flatten)
  73. Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 2 px dark color
  74. Selections - Select all
  75. Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 70 px foreground color
  76. Selections - Invert
  77. Flood Fill Tool - flood fill with the gradient
  78. Adjust - Blur - Radiant blur
  79. Effects - 3D Effecten - Cutout
  80. Repeat with Vertical en Horizontal = -5
  81. Selections - Deselect all
  82. Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 2 px dark color #28517b
  83. Effects - Plugins - Xero Porcelain - standard settings
  84. Image - Resize - 900 pixels large or smaller
  85. Add Watermark
  86. File - Save As- Give_a_name.jpg
