Preparation
Extract the texture into your map with Textures
Open PSP
Open the tubes in your program and minimize or install them in a map of your choice.
Material
Pick a light foreground color (#a2afe4) and a dark background color (#522c60)

Change material of the foreground into a Foreground- Background gradient with these settings

The lesson
PART 1

  1. File - New - New Image (800/600) - transparant checked
  2. Flood Fill Tool - Fill the image with the gradient
  3. Effects - Texture Effects - Texture - with these settings
  4. Selections -Select all
  5. Open the tube lia-T0292-lp
  6. Activate the tube layer
  7. Edit - Copy - do not close yet
  8. On your working area - Edit - Paste into Selection
  9. Selections - Select None
  10. Open the tube MetalSunflowers-SmooooochesFramez
  11. Activate the tube layer
  12. Edit - Copy - close the tube
  13. On your working area - Edit - Paste as New Layer
  14. Image - Mirror
  15. Move Tool - move towards the left border see example
  16. Open de tube MarieL_2007_03Mars_Vector02t
  17. Activate the tube layer
  18. Edit - Copy - close the tube
  19. On your working area - Edit - Paste as New Layer
  20. Image - Mirror
  21. Move Tool - move see example
  22. Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten)
  23. Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 2 pixels background color
  24. Image Resize - 80% - Smart Size
  25. You may minimize this image for a few minutes

    PART 2
  26. File - New - New Image - transparent checked
  27. Material palette - change gradient - Invert checked
  28. Flood fill tool - Fill your image with the gradient
  29. Selections - Select all
  30. Maximize the tube lia-T0292-lp - Make the tube layer active
  31. Edit - Copy - Close the tube
  32. On your working area - Edit - Paste into Selection
  33. Selections - Deselect all
  34. Maximize the image that you made in the first part of this lesson
  35. Edit - Copy - You may close this image
  36. On your working area - Edit - Paste as New Layer
  37. Effects - Image Effects - Offset - with these settings
  38. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow
  39. Repeat Drop Shadow with -5
    Result
  40. Layers - Merge - Merge all (Flatten)
  41. Material palette - Change gradient into solid color (click on the little icon)
  42. Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 2 pixels background color
  43. Selections - Select All
  44. Selections - Modify - Contract witht 2
  45. Effects - 3D Effects - Cutout
  46. Selections - Select None
  47. Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 50 pixels foreground color
  48. Magic Wand Tool - tolerance and feather = 0- select this border
  49. Adjust - Blur - Radial Blur with these settings
  50. Selections - Deselect
  51. Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 2 pixels background color
  52. Open the tube Urban_Elegance_SMTubes
  53. Activate the tube layer
  54. Edit - Copy - close the tube
  55. On your working area - Edit - Paste as New Layer
  56. Image - Mirror
  57. Move Tool -move the tube to this place
  58. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow
  59. Open de tube BC-paasei-2-versierd
  60. Activate the tube layer
  61. Edit - Copy - close the tube
  62. On your working area - Edit - Paste as New Layer
  63. Image - Resize - Resize 80% - Smart Size - All Layers not checked
  64. Edit - Repeat Resize (or Ctrl + Y on your keyboard)
  65. and once more - Edit - Repeat Resize (or Ctrl + Y on your keyboard)
  66. Move Tool - move see example
  67. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow - same settings
  68. Material palette - arrange it for the text- Close the foreground color
  69. Activate the Text Tool with these settings
  70. Write your text: "To love and be loved is to feel the sun from both sides" (or a text to your choice)
  71. Click Apply (or in PSP13 click the check mark in the top menu)
  72. Layer palette - convert to raster layer
  73. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow
  74. Move tool -Move to its place (this is an example with a text written in Dutch)
  75. Activate the text layer again- Attention to the direction of the text!!!
  76. Write Happy Easter (or a text to your choice)
  77. Click Apply (or in PSP13 click the check mark in the top menu)
  78. Layer palette - convert to raster layer
  79. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow- same settings
  80. Move Tool - move to its place (this is an example with a text written in Dutch)
  81. Layers - New Raster layer
  82. Add your watermark
  83. Layers - Merge - Merge All (Flatten)
  84. Image - resize (smart size) 850 pixels width
    Or smaller if that suits you better
  85. File - Save as - give_a_name.jpg
