This lesson was written by Jille on June 21st 2010 in the Dutch version from PSP 13. The lesson can be made in other versions as well.

Preparation
- Install the filters
- Masks has to be stored in the map masks
- Open PSP
- Open the tubes in a map of your choice or in the program PSP

Material
I took a light color( #f7f5e8 ) for the foreground and a darker one (# c2a42b ) for the background

Material Foreground - change into Foreground-Background gradient with these settings

The lesson

  1. File - New - New image - transparent checked - 800/600 pixels
  2. Flood fill with the foreground gradient
  3. Layers - New Raster layer
  4. Flood fill with the background gradient
  5. Layers - Load/Save Mask - load mask from disk and choose
  6. Layers - Merge - Merge Group
  7. Layers - Merge - Merge down
  8. Selection tool - Custom selection
  9. Layer palette - Promote selection to layer
  10. Material palette: switch the colors - foreground color = darker color
    Close background color
  11. Pen tool with these settings- width solid line = 7
  12. Draw within the selected area two short lines see example (press shift key on your keyboard) click apply in the menu when you are satisfied with the result
  13. Layer palette - Promote to raster layer
    It is possible that the selection disappears when you draw the lines. In that case click the selection tool again
  14. Effects - Plugins - Mura's Meister PerspectiveTiling - standard settings
  15. Selections - Deselect all
  16. Selection tool - Custom selection
  17. fill with the dark foreground color
  18. Selections - Deselect all
  19. Layers - Merge - Merge down
    Layer palette looks like this

  22. Material palette arrange as follows

  26. Layers - Load/Save Mask - load mask from disk and choose

  29. Effects - Plugins - Flaming Pear - Transline
    selections remains
  30. Layers - Duplicate
  31. Layer palette - blend mode = burn
  32. Layers - Merge - Merge down
  33. Layers - New Raster layer!!!!!!
  34. Material palette switch colors, light color = foreground color
    you may open your backgroundcolour as well
  35. fill with the light foreground color
  36. Selections - Modify - contract with 2 pixels
  37. Click Delete key on your keyboard
  38. Layers - Merge - Merge down
  39. Selections - Deselect all
  40. Effects - Plugins - Andromeda perspective click Presets
    and afterwards follow thenumbers on the print screen

  41. Move tool- move to the left see example
  42. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow - color = background color
  43. Layers - Duplicate
  44. Image - mirror
  45. Layer palette - Activate the To raster promoted selection layer
  46. Layers - New Raster layer
  47. Selection tool - Custom selection

  48. Open the tube anna.br-landscape_by_amarkova-06-06-10
  49. Tube layer Misted (= layer in the middle) has to be actif -
    Edit - Copy
    Close the tube
  50. On your working area
    Edit - Paste into selection
  51. Image - mirror
  52. Selections - Deselect all
    Stay on this layer
  53. Open the tube Child 5-----Laufey.psp
  54. Edit - Copy
    Close the tube
  55. On your working area
    Edit - Paste as New layer
  56. Image - mirror
  57. Image - Resize - 3 x 80%!!!!
  58. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow
  59. Move Tool - see print screen

  60. Open the tube alies 231-vrouwen-28032010
  61. Edit - Copy
    Close the tube
  62. On your working area
    Edit - Paste as New layer
  63. Image - Resize
    same settings BUT 75 %
  64. Move Tool - move to the right
  65. Open the tube betsie_394_9 april.2010

    Close the tube

    Edit - Paste as New layer
  68. Image - Resize
    same settings BUT 70 %
  69. Move Tool - move to the left
  70. Layers - Merge - Merge all (flatten)
  71. Image - Add Borders - Symmetric NOT checked - dark background color
  72. Image - Rotate Right

  79. Move Tool - drag to the bottom
  80. Image - Rotate Left
  81. Layers - Merge - Merge all (flatten)
  82. Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - light foreground color
  83. Material palette - change into gradients again
  84. Selections - Select all
  85. Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 50 pixels - dark background color
  86. Selections - Invert
  87. Layer palette -Promote selection to layer
  88. fill with foreground gradient
  89. Layers - New Raster layer
  90. fill with background gradient
  91. Layers - Load/Save Mask - load mask from disk and choose
  92. Layers - Merge - Merge Group
  93. Effects - Edge Effects- Enhance
  94. Selections - deselect all
  95. Image - Add Borders - Symmetric checked - 2 pixels- light foreground color
  96. Image - Resize - 900 pixels width or to your choice
  97. Add watermark
  98. File - Save As - Give_a_name.jpg
